Hi, I'm Alexa Lavernia, a licensed Occupational Therapist with a passion for pediatric care! Holding a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Barry University, I bring over four years of experience working with diverse age groups and disabilities. From newborns to young adults, my goal is to empower independence through playful methods, exercises, and engaging activities.  What fuels my enthusiasm most is my commitment to wholeheartedly assist every client and witness the triumphant mastery of everyday tasks! I believe in teamwork with parents, therapists, and educators to ensure success in the lives of children.  One year ago, I took the leap to start Paving Ways Therapy, my private practice dedicated to creating a boutique-like experience for clients and families. With a focus on personalized and intimate services, I specialize in sensory integration, prioritizing the brain first, then nurturing the body and skills. I am beyond grateful for the incredible journey and excited for what's to come!
